SARAH ILLENBERGER

Sarah Illenberger captures the poetry of everyday life in her objects and installations, blending art and design with her distinctive multidisciplinary approach. Central to her practice is the manipulation of commonplace objects, playing with their materiality and established meanings. Her aim is to surprise and reshape our perceptions, encouraging us to discover the often-overlooked details and symbolism imbued within objects.

Based in Berlin, Sarah Illenberger’s work encompasses sculpture, installations, and photography. She also teaches, hosts workshops, and collaborates with The New York Times, Hermès, Schaubühne, and Mykita, among others.
